Phigenics' Smart Water Leadership Summit, Dallas April 24-25, Gathers Leaders in Facility Management and Infection Control to Discuss Managing the Risk of Legionellosis and Optimizing Water and Energy Use

DALLAS, Jan. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 5th Annual Smart Water Leadership Summit, produced by Phigenics, LLC, will be held April 24-25, 2017 at the Tower Club in Dallas, TX. The Summit brings together top leaders in building water management to exchange knowledge on topics related to solving the most demanding needs of protecting human health while conserving water and energy and reducing cost.

In response to the passage of ANSI/ASHRAE 188-2015  "Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems" and the release of the CDC Water Management Toolkit "Developing a Water Management Program to Reduce Legionella Growth and Spread in Buildings", this year's Summit theme is "Advancing Your Organization's Water Management Program". Organizations are adopting and seeking to advance their water management programs as a means to comprehensively and defensibly manage water across their portfolios.

On Monday, April 24, the Summit will feature an optional full-day training course focused on learning best practices for optimizing building water systems for safety, efficiency and cost. An Executive Forum will follow the training with a keynote speech discussing the emerging legal issues and landscape regarding building water management.
