Crowded Markets, Social Media, Industry Growth The Focus Of CEB's Wine Law Forum™ 2016

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), California's premier legal education and legal research solutions provider, invites attorneys and wine industry professionals to take part in Wine Law Forum™ 2016. This year's program focuses on the challenges wineries face in competing in a crowded market while complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Reaching customers and retail clients beyond the tasting room, managing distributor relationships, and fostering positive relationships with neighbors and in their communities will also be discussed in depth by a panel that includes eight wine law attorneys and industry experts, moderated by internationally recognized wine law authority; director of the Wine Law and Policy Program at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law; and vintner Richard P. Wine Law Forum™ 2016 comprises three presentations that explore particularly pressing issues for wineries today: Beyond the Tasting Room: Events, Festivals, and Social Media; Barriers to Market Access: Direct-to-Consumer Sales and Franchise Laws; and Balancing Local Concerns and Industry Growth.

Petrovich, a shareholder in the Santa Barabara - based Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schrek, who counsels in environmental law, land use, and real estate; Rebecca Stamey-White, a partner at Hinman & Carmichael LLP whose practice focuses on alcohol beverage licensing and compliance; and John Trinidad, an attorney with Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty who works on wine law and intellectual property.

Wine Law Forum™ 2016 will take place the Fess Parker Doubletree by Hilton in Santa Barbara.
