Online Learning Consortium Announces 2016 Class of OLC Fellows
Drs. Jennifer Richardson and Robbie Melton will be recognized for exceptional contributions to the field of online learning during a ceremony at next month's OLC Accelerate conference in Orlando.

NEWBURYPORT, Mass., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) today announced Jennifer Richardson, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Learning Design and Technology, Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Purdue University, and Robbie Melton, Ph.D., Associate Vice Chancellor of eLearning, Mobilization and Emerging Technologies for the Tennessee Board of Regents, have been named to the 2016 class of OLC Fellows. They will be recognized during a ceremony at OLC Accelerate (#OLCAccelerate), which takes place Nov. 16-18, in Orlando.

Recognition as an OLC Fellow is conferred by the OLC Board of Directors on those who have contributed to advancing quality, scale and breadth in online and blended education in areas represented by the OLC Pillars of learning effectiveness, access, faculty and student satisfaction and scale.

Dr. Richardson was nominated by OLC Fellow Phil Ice, Ed.D., Chief Learning Officer, Mirum, for her significant contributions to the areas of scholarship, teaching and service.

Dr. Robbie Melton was nominated by OLC Fellow John Bourne, Ph.D., Editor-in-Chief, International Journal on Innovations in Online Education, for her leadership, advocacy, passion and generosity of time and talent in the promotion of the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
