Green Chemistry Clearinghouse Annual Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The impact of international regulations is the main theme of this year's Green Chemistry Conference. Speakers from the UK, Brussels and Helsinki will join national experts in presenting an in depth view of where EU Reach is heading, what the consequences of Brexit will be, and how the circular economy and global supply chain affect business. The Keynote Address will be delivered by John Zhang, a partner at Dentons law firm, who will discuss China's unique role as a major exporter and importer.

The Conference will also focus on the new TSCA legislation. Benjamin Dunham, Senior Policy Advisor with Holland & Knight and former Senior Advisor to the late U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg, will co-chair the Conference and lead the discussion on TSCA.

The Green Chemistry Conference is held in conjunction with the Prop. 65 Conference that is held on the previous day.

Green Chemistry Clearinghouse was started in 2013 by its publisher, Lana Beckett, to track key regulatory documents, deadlines and litigation. The Clearinghouse keeps subscribers up-to-date on California's new Safer Consumer Products regulations—including a user friendly, searchable Chemical Database. It covers multiple states' Green Chemistry programs, federal regulatory actions, EU REACH and other international regulatory agencies.
