The event addresses vital topics in workers' compensation, occupational safety and health and attracts stakeholders to study and be educated on issues of common concern.  Information gathered during the event will be shared under the hashtag #WCI2016.

Organizers said they will offer ancillary sessions on the Social Security Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act, the Jones Act, the Defense Base Act, the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and the SMART Act, with specific emphasis on their effect on workers' compensation along with public policy issue discussions.

Attendees will have access to a wide range of products, such as offerings of hygiene and daily living products from Etac and patient lifts and transfers from Molift and Immedia.  Additionally, a live operation will be performed onsite and industry keynote speakers will cover varied topics related to occupational safety, health, federal and state legislation.

Conference organizers have thrown some fun into the informational mix, adding a casino night fundraiser and live entertainment event featuring San Francisco-based band, Third Eye Blind, who have recorded four best-selling albums.  The Saturday, August 20th Casino night will benefit non-profit, Give Kids the World.

"We have a long history with this established conference where we meet annually with experts, customers and stakeholders engaged in promoting occupational safety and health.
