LaaSer Critical Communications Announces Strategic Alliance with West

ATLANTA, Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LaaSer Critical Communications (http://www.laaser911.com/), developer of innovative location technology for emergency services, has entered into a strategic alliance with West.  The alliance explores how the two companies can work together to empower superior location determination and call routing for the entire 9-1-1 ecosystem – with no need to install new infrastructure.

"LaaSer and West offer best-of-breed public safety technologies for the modern age, when emergency callers are increasingly calling 9-1-1 from mobile phones," says LaaSer CEO Fred White. "Together, we will help ensure that 9-1-1 calls go to the appropriate PSAP and provide that PSAP with the best possible information about the caller's location. Ultimately, LaaSer and West aim to solve a clear and present public safety issue and improve emergency response for all Americans."

"As a market leader in E9-1-1, West is actively involved in understanding how new technology and operational approaches can further improve the nation's emergency service infrastructure," said John Kearney, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobility Solutions in West's Safety Services Division. "As such, we continue to work with key technology innovators like LaaSer to demonstrate the viability of new solutions."

LaaSer is pleased to be joining West at APCO 2016 in Orlando from August 15–16. Representatives of LaaSer will be in the Location Services section of the West booth to discuss how the company's patented solution quickly provides accurate location data through the existing 9-1-1 infrastructure.
