6sense Announces $56,611 Donation to Girl Rising at Predictive Intelligence Summit B2B ESP
Bolsters Ongoing Commitment to Give Back and Foster a Philanthropic Company Culture

SAN FRANCISCO, July 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- 6sense, the industry's leading predictive intelligence platform for B2B marketing and sales, today announced it has donated $56,611 to Girl Rising, a donation generated from the ticket sales from its recent B2B ESP conference. Girl Rising is a global campaign for girl's education and empowerment, which uses the power of storytelling to share the truth that educating girls can transform societies. As data tells us, educating girls is the single most quantifiable, measurable solution to fighting all of the issues facing developing nations from infant mortality and poverty to sex crimes.

By giving back to Girl Rising and investing in the solution of our time, 6sense is furthering its commitment to building inclusive communities and thriving economies around the world. When girls are educated, communities thrive and economies grow. Yet 62 million girls are missing from classrooms worldwide, and tremendous opportunities are lost. Data shows that for every 10 percent increase of girls that are educated, the GDP of that country will increase three percent, making educating girls a measurable solution that changes lives and economies. The donation marks the latest effort from 6sense to use its technology, data, resources and time to make a positive impact and serve as a model for a new kind of Silicon Valley company.

"I believe that 6sense has a greater purpose beyond building a big data and predictive intelligence company. Data provides us the opportunity to build a big business, and data holds the key to solving real-world problems," says 6sense CEO and founder, Amanda Kahlow. "We want to redefine success in business so that all companies compete to not only be the best in the world but also the best for the world. We are building a work environment that is passionate, positive, collaborative and empathetic with heart. We encourage our team to focus on others before themselves both at work and in society as a whole."

Since its inception in 2013, Girl Rising's mission has been to change the way the world values the girl and ensure that girls' education is part of the mainstream conversation. Together with partners, Girl Rising launches high profile campaigns to bring visibility to the issues girls face and inspire people to dismantle the barriers that hold them back. Girl Rising raises awareness about the issue, inspires action and makes change happen through film and other tools, such as educational and advocacy videos, screening guides and a free school curriculum.

In September 2015, 6sense announced that it joined Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. Through the Pledge 1% movement, over 500 organizations have committed to philanthropic efforts to improve communities locally and around the world. By pledging 1% of its equity, time and product to Girl Rising, 6sense is committed to support nonprofits that focus on developing quantifiable solutions that change the world.
