Retail, Consumer Technology and Crowdfunding to Be Focus of May 24 Workshop in Los Angeles
Breakfast event to feature expert discussions about the changing landscape for retail and consumer tech and online capital raising under the JOBS Act

(OTCQX: OTCM), operator of the OTCQX®, OTCQB® and Pink® markets for 10,000 U.S. and global securities, today announced the details for its workshop, "Consumers as Investors – Redefining Financing Options for Entrepreneurs," taking place Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 7:30-10:00 a.m. at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, CA.

This is OTC Markets Group's second event designed to educate startup companies and entrepreneurs about the financing options and exits available under the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act.  Speakers include Hil Davis, Founder and CEO of BeautyKind, a Los Angeles-based online beauty retailer and charitable giving company that has announced it is seeking to raise up to $10 million under the JOBS Act Title IV, "Regulation A+," and go public on the OTCQX Best Market; Gil Luria, Managing Director and E-Commerce/Technology Analyst at Wedbush Securities; and Jeremy Glaser, Chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies Practice at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. Additional speakers will include retail/consumer technology and crowdfunding industry experts from B.
