Lithium Receives Record-Breaking Number of Lithy Award Submissions
More than 100 award submissions from 67 global brands

SAN FRANCISCO, May 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lithium Technologies today announced that it has received over 100 Lithy award submissions from 67 global brands, an increase of 57 percent year-over-year.  The annual awards honor Lithium customers for their excellence in digital customer experience.

Lithium customers, from 17 countries spanning five continents, submitted in six categories to highlight how they are using the Lithium platform to connect and engage with their customers. For example, the contenders in the "Total Community All Star" category showcased how they are using both a Lithium-powered community with Lithium Reach and Lithium Response to drive business goals. In fact, the 15 entries submitted in the "Support Savings MVP" category showed more than $109 million of cost savings.

Lithium customers, partners and fans are now encouraged to vote for their favorite submissions on the Lithium Community through May 10, 2016. To vote for your favorite 2016 Lithy Awards submission visit the Lithium Community at: www.lithium.com/lithy2016

"The Lithy awards keep getting bigger and better every year. It's time to shine the spotlight on customers that are delivering amazing results from their total communities," said Katy Keim, Chief Marketing Officer at Lithium. "This year, we've received more than 100 submissions from global brands including AT&T, Electronic Arts, Google, GoPro, HP, PayPal and Sony PlayStation. It's a true honor to be their platform of choice to help them deliver stellar customer experiences."

The selection of winners will be a two-step process: a combination of the popular peer vote on the Lithium Community and via final selection by the judging panel that will look at the spirit of the story, the results submitted, and evidence to back up the submission. The judging panel will include Industry Analyst and Author of the CRM Watchlist Paul Greenberg.

The winners will be announced at LiNC '16 (Lithium Networking Conference) on the evening of June 9 at the LiNC Bash and Lithy Awards Ball.  In addition to the Lithy Awards ceremony, LiNC '16 attendees will have access to six industry-leading certifications and workshops, 17 high-quality breakout sessions, and hear from executive speakers from brands like HP, Microsoft, Skype and Samsung.

LiNC '16 will be held at the Marriott Marquis in downtown San Francisco, June 8-10, 2016. To learn more or register for the conference, visit lithium.com/linc2016.
