Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau To Keynote At The Economist's Canada Summit
Full-day event to feature keynote interviews of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister of Finance Bill Morneau

NEW YORK, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Economist Events today announced that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has joined its Canada Summit, taking place June 8th 2016 in Toronto. The event will gather 200 senior business and government leaders, including Minister of Finance Bill Morneau.

Both Trudeau and Morneau will participate in one-on-one interviews to be conducted by an editor of The Economist.

The Canada Summit will identify the key trends that are reshaping Canada's role in the global economy and investigate how the country can be more competitive.

The country faces a challenging economic environment, but higher government investment and improved competitiveness will support growth, said Joseph Lake, Director of global forecasting for The Economist Intelligence Unit, who joins Unger as an event moderator.
