The session is just one part of several activities Vizant will be involved in at the conference to drive a collaborative industry discussion around challenges to both future payments innovations and payments system efficiency improvements.

The company will also lead a second session on Wednesday, April 20 where it will provide its perspectives as to what the payments ecosystem may look like in five years. (https://payments.nacha.org/Buzz-Track-Sessions). Additionally, as one of just three Platinum-level sponsors (https://payments.nacha.org/2016-sponsors), Vizant will exclusively sponsor a Payments Innovation Hub on-site (https://payments.nacha.org/3D-Innovation-Hub). The Payments Innovation Hub will include a NACHA Challenge event where companies, organizations, and individuals will compete to present new and innovative approaches to solving current payments industry problems and impediments to progress (https://payments.nacha.org/NACHA-challenge).

"The payments industry is undergoing enormous and disruptive change," said Joseph N. Bizzarro, CEO of Vizant. "Organizations are receiving a lot of marketplace hype and noise about embracing so-called innovative and alternative payment methods into their operations. Companies are facing a decision whether to make systematic changes in their payments environment. However, before any organization should consider making such structural and costly changes, they must get to the cause of inefficiencies in their existing payments and treasury operations. Vizant is pleased to have the opportunity to foster, support, navigate and contribute to these important discussions facing the industry."

In addition to leading two educational sessions and sponsoring the Payments Innovation Hub, Vizant will also be hosting a Casino-themed reception where payments industry professionals can gather and network further to share perspectives (https://payments.nacha.org/Tuesday-Night-Reception).
