There are now hundreds of sources for threat intelligence and an equal number of companies willing to charge for their sources. However, the notion and concept of openly sharing threat intelligence is rarely seen. Although some forums, some communities and some organizations do partake in this, why are we not seeing this in all industries? Why does a company have to be a part of a secret club to have access to the data it needs to protect its company assets and intellectual property?

In their presentation, Carder and Foss will lay the foundation for building a threat intelligence architecture that leverages internal sources, making the intelligence actionable. They will also examine ways in which organizations can openly collaborate and share threat intelligence at an affordable cost.
