Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance to be featured at VMworld 2019

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance will be a featured VMware customer partner at the VMworld 2019 conference, August 25-29 in San Francisco, California. In the keynote address on Monday, VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger showcased Angel MedFlight for its innovative use of VMware's Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solution. On Tuesday, August 27, at the HCI product presentation, Angel MedFlight's Chief Development Officer, Paul Green will discuss how Angel MedFlight is improving air medical transportation using the HCI platform.

During his address on Tuesday, Green will explain how Angel MedFlight collaborated with technology partners to develop a custom air ambulance Electronic Medical Record (EMR) application for iPads supported by VMware's HCI. Green will also share how Angel MedFlight's "one step ahead" culture allows the air medical transport provider to anticipate patient demographic shifts and use technology to meet patients' needs.
