KYMCO Ionex Expands Globally in Q4

Presenting at the Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition in Kobe, Japan and Unveiling "Ionex Commercial" in France in October

KOBE, Japan, Oct. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- KYMCO attends the Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS 31) at Kobe, Japan by invitation for the very first time. EVS 31 is one of the world's most influential exhibitions and the largest trade shows for electric vehicles and the ecosystem. The exhibition opened on October 1 and will last for four days. With the theme "Leading a Smart Society with New Mobility" this year, EVS 31 focuses on developing the blueprint of smart city accelerated by smart electric vehicles. EVS 31 serves as a global platform for over 200 companies from the world and gathers advocates from the industry, government, and academia. At EVS 31, KYMCO showcases the "Ionex" solution with test-ride opportunities. Later in October, KYCMO will launch "Ionex Commercial" in Paris, France.

Ionex is a full-range of innovative solutions

"KYMCO Ionex was created to offer an uncompromising electric vehicle solution for corporations, policy makers, and riders. KYMCO is committed to making an impact at the juncture of the most important transformation in the transportation industry," said Allen Ko, Chairman of KYMCO. "We are honored to be invited to attend EVS 31 at Kobe to showcase KYMCO Ionex to the industry. We can all build smart cities together."

Accelerating commercial transition to electric

The attendance at EVS 31 demonstrates KYMCO's commitment to accelerating the transition to electric in the global commercial market. Ionex offers the flexibility of fast deployment and easy adaption for commercial users to successfully transition to electric without compromise.

With the Ionex's versatile charging infrastructure, individuals, corporations and policy makers will have an economically feasible plan for implementing electric solution. Governments now have a game-changing blueprint to go green. Corporations can embrace green energy and improve their services and operations. Examples include postal services, delivery services, and logistic operators. These commercial users can now use the energy stations to operate battery swapping services for their own fleet of electric vehicles, with lower costs and better efficiency.

KYMCO have already rolled out Ionex in commercial markets. The recently announced partnership with Hema Supermarket by Alibaba Group was a demonstrable example of Ionex's application in the commercial market. More commercial application deployments are expected to be subsequently announced.

"With Ionex we help accelerate the world's transition to electric vehicles," said Allen Ko, Chairman of KYMCO. "We invite governments, corporations, and consumers worldwide to participate in this important social mission of our time."
