CHICAGO, Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The third annual Anniversary Marketing Summit brought together executives and managers from 31 organizations to learn about planning and implementing corporate anniversary campaigns. The Summit, presented by heritage management agency The History Factory, took place on Tuesday, October 17, in Chicago, IL at Workspring.
This year's speakers included San Diego Zoo Global Chief Marketing Officer Ted Molter; Cargill Global Brand Director Karen Kozak; Kevin Bishop, former VP of IBM Global Brand System; The History Factory's founder and CEO, Bruce Weindruch; and Max Lenderman, purpose-driven creative consultant and CEO of School. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with speakers in a more informal setting at a dinner hosted the evening before The Summit at Gilt Bar.
Significant anniversary milestones are an important opportunity for organizations to both reflect on their journey and share their vision for the future. The Summit's goal is to teach corporate leaders how to successfully leverage their own anniversaries through authentic campaigns. The 55 attendees had exclusive access to networking opportunities, take-home materials and unparalleled education from experienced leaders who have successfully leveraged anniversary campaigns for top organizations.
The Summit featured workshops led by experts with extensive experience planning and implementing anniversary programs, designed to help participants shape a strategy, craft their stories and build a plan for their own upcoming corporate anniversary campaigns.
Attendees included senior-level executives in marketing, communications, HR, brand, CSR and their direct reports who are in the midst of planning anniversary programs. Several industries were represented including professional sports franchises, food and beverage, wine and spirits, financial services, retail and healthcare and transportation.
Founded in 2014 as The Corporate Anniversary Forum by Lisa Alonge, this was the first year The Summit was hosted in Chicago after being acquired by heritage management agency The History Factory and rebranding as The Anniversary Marketing Summit.
