Howard Pollock, Abila's Vice President of Association Management, has joined the ASAE Industry Partner Alliance (IPA) Committee; and industry veteran Dirk Behrends has been promoted to Vice President of Association Enterprise Solutions. Abila has also recently expanded its involvement with the AMC Institute (AMCI), and continues a long relationship with Association Forum.

"We believe by giving back to the community; growing and developing our team; and sharing our experience and expertise through research, best practices, and other thought leadership we can be a partner in building the profession and supporting the positive impact associations have on our society," said Krista Endsley, chief executive officer for Abila.

"With veteran Howard expanding his support of the industry, and experienced leader Dirk broadening his role, we're confident we'll continue to provide exceptional value to the industry beyond our leading products and services," Endsley continued. "It's our goal to not only deliver the best technology to the industry, but also to provide insights and counsel about emerging trends and the role technology will play as organizations adapt to provide more value in response to shifting member needs."

As a member of the IPA, Pollock will serve on a committee of 25 industry partner members representing the wide spectrum of businesses that serve the association sector. The committee helps ASAE and its more than 21,000 members develop ideas, tools, and resources that support their goals of building knowledge, enabling learning, fostering community, and advocating on behalf of the industry. Abila joined ASAE's Alliance Partnership Program as a Strategic Partner in 2015.

"I'm proud to represent Abila and technology vendors serving associations on ASAE's Industry Partner Alliance Committee," said Pollock. "Through our involvement in the committee, we hope to provide insights and new ideas as membership models change and associations look for new ways to enhance value for their members."

Behrends, who has nearly 30 years' experience in the association sector, will expand his duties and play a key role in the growth of Abila's industry-leading association and learning management software.

"In our recent Member Engagement Study, we found credentials and continuing education ranked highly across all generations of members when it came to what want benefits members value most from associations," said Behrends. "The addition of the Freestone Learning Management System (LMS) to the Abila portfolio has opened new opportunities and I look forward to sharing with the market how our expanded portfolio can benefit associations and their members."

Abila will continue its support of ASAE as a leading sponsor and exhibitor at the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Salt Lake City, August 13-16. Abila is once again excited to collaborate with numerous partners to create "Association Avenue," around its booth at the exposition. Abila and its partners can be found at Booth #837.

Earlier this year Abila also joined the AMC Institute (AMCI), and is looking forward to deepening the relationship as a sponsor at its upcoming event in Salt Lake City, August 11-13.
