ESC Minneapolis brings the leading embedded systems suppliers and innovators to share their latest advancements and give insight into the future of the industry. The event will feature a dynamic show floor highlighting the latest in embedded design, an unprecedented educational conference featuring over 35 hours of content, and thought provoking industry keynote speakers to provide insight and information.

Meet the Keynotes:

Chuck Carter, Founder, Eagre Games: Carter is well known for his contributions to the video game industry, most notably for his work in the creation of the game Myst. Carter also helped create 26 other video games throughout his career including Pacman World Rally, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and many more. Additionally, Carter's illustrations and animations has been featured on the BBC, in National Geographic, and in work with NASA.

Carter's Presentation, Playing a New Game: VR Challenges and Opportunities, will focus on the future of virtual reality gaming and the innovation within game creation to adapt to this new technology.

George Leopold, Journalist and Author: Leopold has been on the forefront of technology and science for the last 30 years, covering U.S. manned spaceflight extensively. His work has appeared in leading publications including the New York Times and New Scientist, among many others. Leopold's newest book, Calculated Risk: The Supersonic Life and Times of Gus Grissom, has received national attention and is currently on Amazon's best seller list.

Leopold's presentation, The Astronaut as Engineer, will cover the life of Astronaut Gus Grissom, the devastating loss of the Apollo 1 crew, and how that loss led to the U.S. winning the Space Race.

Both Keynote presentations will be open to all attendees of any of the six co-located events.

The Expo Floor:

This year's ESC Minneapolis features the top embedded systems suppliers on the show floor with the latest hardware and software breakthroughs, products demos and rising trends. Additionally, the expo floor will house various free show activities including:
