SANS to Highlight the Legal Side of Cybersecurity at Houston InfoSec Training Event
Will Offer Insight into the New World of Cyber Investigations with a Special Focus on Law, Ethics and Evidence

BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the agenda for the SANS Houston 2016 information security training event taking place May 9-14. The event will feature hands-on immersion style training courses covering forensics, security, and security management. Also included on the agenda are legal courses and bonus evening discussions designed to help cybersecurity and InfoSec professionals navigate the legal side of cybersecurity.

"Increasingly the public conversation about information security is becoming a conversation about law. Law is the medium through which society resolves its great disputes and challenges. InfoSec professionals must be versed in law to do their jobs well," said Benjamin Wright, an attorney and a senior instructor with SANS Institute.

In addition to his evening talk, The Dizzy New World of Cyber Investigations: Law, Ethics and Evidence, Wright will teach his popular LEG523: Law of Data Security and Investigations course at SANS Houston. SANS Houston attendees also have the opportunity to participate in the SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking course and bonus evening discussion, the Instant Expert: Legitimately and Ethically.

SANS Houston will feature many comprehensive hands-on technical training courses and bonus evening discussions developed to help InfoSec and cybersecurity professionals combat today's most complex threats.
