PROJECT Brings Fashion Consciousness and Digital Experiences to the Las Vegas Show

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of the East Coast edition of PROJECT New York, the show is now heading west to Las Vegas with a strong offering of Fall/Winter collections exhibiting at PROJECT Las Vegas, THE TENTS, THE COLLECTIVE, DESIGNER COLLECTIVE, PROJECT WOMENS and POOLTRADESHOW. The ever-expanding show will begin on Tuesday, February 16th and run until Thursday, February 18th, providing a unique experience for editors, buyers and retailers.

Each season, PROJECT Las Vegas brings together inspiration-seeking industry leaders from across the globe looking for what's next in fashion. "When designing this show, our focus was on pushing the boundaries with fashion. The collections and brands exhibiting this year will share their creativity and individuality with attendees and provide a new perspective on menswear and womenswear," stated Tommy Fazio, President, Fashion Director.

As new designers make their debut this season, collections from Lacoste, Private White V.C., Bugatti, Superdry. and Craft Atlantic bring their expertise to the showroom floor. Both emerging and iconic brands is what makes PROJECT a truly unique atmosphere for those in attendance.

Additionally, PROJECT has partnered with WGSN, the world's leading trend authority, to curate "The Edit," PROJECT's signature trend report, in order to educate buyers and retailers on navigating key trends for the season.

WGSN will also hold a panel at PROJECT entitled, "The Future of Menswear," which will bring together some of the industry's most knowledgeable minds to have an in-depth dialogue to explore the continual development of the contemporary menswear market along with discussing its current state and future outlook.

  • THE WORKROOM created with young designers in mind to give them the room and space to grow and curate.
  • The Park Showroom is the premiere multi-line lifestyle showroom specializing in men's and women's contemporary fashion. Brands include Kardo, Joln, Terracomo and Roamers & Seekers.
  • As a curated area within PROJECT, the DESIGNER COLLECTIVE, highlights like-minded, established contemporary menswear brands who are first time exhibitors within the PROJECT community. The section showcases full gamut with brands including Southern Tide, PVH neckwear, Ike Behar and Zanetti.
  • The #BloggerPROJECT, curated by Marcus Troy, will return to Las Vegas to celebrate digital media and fashion coinciding as one. Through the #BloggerPROJECT, brands are connected with the right bloggers and form relationships that continue to develop after PROJECT. In addition, bloggers will host their semi-annual #BloggerPROJECT Awards that recognize the best brands at the show. Winners will be announced on the last day and receive a prize courtesy of Moët & Chandon. Those in attendance should be on the look out for the Conscious Collections sticker on booths and the showcase located near the main entrance of PROJECT WOMENS which will offer trends from brands that practice sustainable and ethical methods. Brands participating in the Conscious Collections Showcase include: Bauxo, Half United, Liberty Garden, Me to We and N: Philanthropy.
  • Be sure to preview the 2016 Spring & Summer Collection for S'Well, the beautiful stainless steel water bottles that keep drinks cold for 24 hours. Located in the FLEX Lounge, S'Well will keep you hydrated with your own custom PROJECT exclusive water bottle while you tour the showroom floor.

POOLTRADESHOW

  • At the intersection of art, design and commerce is the POOLTRADESHOW. Specifically designed for the boutique market, this show offers collectively curated designs in an intimate setting.
