Rooted in 12 months of research, the 2016 Formica® Laminate Residential Collection includes three new large-scale 180fx® by Formica Group laminates, three new standard Formica® Laminates, and four new Formica® Laminate Jonathan Adler Collection designs. The 2016 Formica® Laminate Residential Collection includes EliteForm, a new technology that delivers industry-leading scratch resistance and impressive durability to stand up to the wear and tear of daily life.

"Research shows that homeowners are drawn to surfacing options that appeal to their personal style, and are looking to showcase their individuality and tastes," said Gerri Chmiel, North American residential design lead for Formica Corporation. "The 2016 Formica® Laminate Residential Collection offers homeowners on-trend surfacing that is durable to withstand everyday messes and events, affordable to fit into family budgets, and designed to complement homes and styles of all kinds."

The 2016 Formica® Laminate Residential Collection includes:

180fx® by Formica Group
Three new affordably luxurious designs are added to the 180fx® large-scale laminate collection.

Café Azul – a timeless, quartz inspired pattern featuring veins of cool gray and warm brown that flow through a white background.

Black Fusion – a dramatic stone pattern, featuring a deep black background with gray, white and gold veining.

Oxidized Maple – a weathered yet refined reclaimed wood-look. The oxidation process accelerates the aging of wood, giving this pattern a mix of cool grays and light browns in a planked, active maple pattern.

Formica® Laminate
Three new classically beautiful and functional designs are added to the Formica® Laminate collection.

Neo Cloudreminiscent of modern quartz looks, this pattern features a warm white background balanced by a soft and natural wispy gray vein.

Weathered Cement – a softly worn cement look, without the weight of real cement. Ideal for modern apartments, lofts and industrial or open-space concept kitchens.

Timberworks – a unique pattern created by blending strips of different reclaimed wood species, grains and colors.

Formica® Laminate Jonathan Adler Collection
Formica Corporation continues its relationship with the world-renowned potter, author and designer Jonathan Adler into 2016, resulting in four new chic, eclectic and bold patterns.

Grasscloth – Grasscloth was styled using Jonathan Adler's real grasscloth wallpaper to create a visual texture that is unique, yet timeless. Available in Natural Grasscloth, Lime Grasscloth and Slate Grasscloth.

Gray Josef Linen – a simple, yet complex pattern inspired by Josef Albers. Reminiscent of Midcentury Modern, this pattern features geometric shapes in shades of charcoal, smoke gray and white – all under a fine gray linen texture.

Since 1913, Formica® Brand has provided surfacing inspired by real lives, real spaces and real budgets. As a cost-effective, durable and environmentally-friendly alternative to stone and wood, Formica® Laminate offers homeowners a chance to achieve their desired surfacing look, at a fraction of the cost.
