ISG to Create Case for Cloud-Based HR and ERP Technology at Oracle Conference
Firm to present strategies for reducing costs, increasing business value in finance, HR and supply chain operations

STAMFORD, Conn., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, will offer guidance on creating a business case for cloud-based HR and ERP technology in a presentation at the Oracle Modern Business Experience conference tomorrow in Las Vegas.

ISG, a sponsor of the event, will host the breakout session, "Building a Business Case for Cloud: Leveraging Cost Reduction and Business Value," at 10:40 a.m., in MBX Theater 1 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

In their presentation, Stacey Cadigan and Debora Card, partners in ISG's HR technology business, will outline proven strategies for building a business case for cloud-based HR and enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology solutions.

"Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is the clear choice for the future of HR and ERP technology," said Cadigan. "Our research shows enterprises are realizing the cost benefits they expect from leveraging such platform solutions."

During the session, the ISG partners will lead the audience through a step-by-step process to implement cloud-based technology in their own organizations – from establishing a baseline view of current delivery costs, to leveraging market data to model achievable savings and deployment, to capturing the full range of return-on-investment benefits.

Cadigan and Card said executives want to understand how cloud-based technology solutions will enable a broader business strategy for revenue growth through digital business models. The most effective proposals, they say, include clear comparisons of the costs and savings for new cloud-based technology solutions, versus the financial impact of maintaining the status quo.

Throughout the conference, ISG's ERP/HCM experts will showcase related services and solutions at the ISG kiosk (#FIN-47) and preview results of a soon-to-be-released ISG survey examining the current state of HR tech maturity and the level of cost savings and business value enterprises are realizing from cloud-based technology.
