Awarded by EXHIBITOR, in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach, CTSM is the industry's only university-affiliated certification program and reflects adherence to the highest educational standards of trade show and event marketing. To earn the CTSM designation, candidates must complete 42 hours of classroom training, take a comprehensive exam, and write an applied learning portfolio.

"Congratulations to our newest graduates for realizing their dreams of earning CTSM professional certification," said Jan Nelson, CTSM, executive director of the CTSM program. "All of these 40 new graduates have developed a comprehensive set of industry-specific knowledge and skills that will serve them well in their careers."

The 40 new CTSM graduates will be honored in a ceremony at EXHIBITORLIVE, The Professional Development Conference for Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing, to be held in Las Vegas, February 24-28, 2019. EXHIBITORLIVE is the highest-rated learning event for trade show and event marketing professionals, with a 30-year track record of excellence. For more information, go to www.ExhibitorLive.com.

The CTSM program has now graduated nearly 650 Certified Trade Show Marketers since its inception. CTSM graduates can also add on to their core certification by attaining four different levels of upgrades: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. More than 3,800 trade show and corporate event marketing professionals are currently enrolled in CTSM, and 260 grads are currently working on Bronze, Silver, and Gold certification upgrades. 18 CTSM graduates have now achieved Diamond Level certification.

"Each of these certification upgrades recognizes advanced levels of commitment to lifelong learning and professional contributions to the industry," Nelson continued. "Several grads have earned multiple upgrades and are actively giving back to the CTSM community by volunteering their time to mentor new enrollees and to lead educational programs at industry events."
