Privy Peach to Sponsor Women of Cannabis Conference, Providing a New Hope for Sexual Dysfunction and Trauma in Women
Privy Peach will be in Vegas Tuesday sponsoring the Women of Cannabis Conference showing how CBD is changing sexual health and wellness.

DENVER, Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Privy Peach will be making an appearance in Vegas next week at the Women of Cannabis Conference. Privy Peach will be donating 500 samples of their CBD infused personal Lubricant to promote awareness about how CBD can support sexual health and wellness.

In 2016, Kimberly Koehler, founder of the women's-focused CBD line Privy Peach, began researching the benefits of cannabidiol. After learning about the way in which CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system, she set out on a mission to help women. She developed a line of CBD-infused intimate products, including a CBD-infused personal lubricant and a CBD tincture coined "Break Free" named after her own personal experience with CBD helping with her chronic anxiety.

Koehler shares, "I was a victim of rape in 2013. The physical effects and the emotional issues from the assault were life-altering. I suffered from severe and chronic pelvic pain for close to three years after the event. The doctors suggested pelvic physical therapy to help strengthen the muscle that had been torn and prescribed me numbing medications. I no longer enjoyed sex. I no longer was able to achieve climax through intercourse and lost all sexual desire. I can't tell you how many times I cried after sex due to the pain and frustration. The anxiety surrounding sex was debilitating."

CBD works with the body's endocannabinoid system to help the body retain anandamide, a neurotransmitter whose root "ananda" means "bliss." CBD is an inhibitor of the fatty acid amides hydrolase, which breaks down anandamide. CBD stops hydrolase from breaking down anandamide.

Anandamide is constantly working to bring about a state of balance to the human body and mind. Mood, happiness, fear, anxiety and ability to endure stress are all regulated by the endocannabinoid system. The body's ability to regulate inflammation is also effected by the body's production and storage of anandamide.

Koehler developed a CBD-infused intimate oil that, when applied during or prior to intercourse, may reduce pain, inflammation and tension. As the CBD is absorbed topically it helps signal the body to reduce inflammation and increase natural lubrication and blood flow. It has been a life-changer for many people.

Koehler recalls, "I remember the very exact moment that I found my calling, I literally cried. I finally discovered my life's purpose and the reason why I went through all the things that I went through. I could finally turn the bad into good and change lives just like mine had been changed. It may not be a miracle, but the combination of consuming CBD and using CBD topically has certainly felt like one to me."

Koehler even produced an intimate erotic topical oil that amplifies pleasurable sensations by increasing blood flow with a natural blend of CBD and aphrodisiac essential oils that provide an entourage of sensations.

"Cannabis is an absolute game-changer when it comes to sexual health and wellness," Koehler explains. "The fact that CBD is becoming more mainstream is so exciting to me. I've seen very anti-cannabis people have their minds changed after seeing the impact that it has without being psychoactive. I truly believe it will only be a few short years before cannabis is widely accepted and implemented in many people's daily lives. I'm very proud for Privy Peach to be a major player in this CBD movement and making major strides in before uncharted territories."
