National Association of Women Business Owners Hosts Annual Women's Business Conference to Support Business Growth and Living Well
The 2018 Conference in Spokane, Washington welcomes hundreds of women entrepreneurs looking to make the most of their business and their life.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO®) is hosting their annual Women's Business Conference (WBC) in Spokane, Washington from September 24-25. The theme of this year's conference "Work Well, Live Well" stands to inspire women to live their greatest life. Women entrepreneurs run successful businesses and households, give back to their communities, advocate for causes and nurture other life passions. Spokane positions itself as the perfect spot to create a work well, live well lifestyle with the motto "Near nature, near perfect" making this the prime location for outdoor adventures as well as the region's major business hub for service industries.

The conference includes two jam-packed days of amazing breakout sessions. The keynote speakers include Elizabeth Gilbert, best-selling author, subject of the book-turned-movie Eat, Pray, Love, as well as Shabnam Mogharabi, CEO and Executive Producer of SoulPancake, an award-winning media and entertainment company that explores 'Life's Big Questions' and curates uplifting, thought-provoking content to celebrate the human experience.

There will also be a special portion of the conference dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of H.R. 5050, The Women Business Ownership Act. This historical piece of legislation changed the course for women business ownership in America.

"Thirty years ago, some NAWBO trailblazers stood on the steps of the U.S. Capitol asking for parity in business which led to the Women Business Ownership Act," explains Molly Gimmel, NAWBO National Board Chair. "This year's conference will celebrate their success and legacy while also reminding today's women business owners how far we've come and how we should live our lives moving forward."
