ProfileUnity and FlexApp enable seamless consumption of Amazon S3, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure storage

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Liquidware, the leading third-party provider of platform-agnostic end-user computing solutions, today announced that it will showcase its solutions for Microsoft Azure at booth #643 at the sold out Microsoft Ignite conference, at Orange County Convention Center, Fla., from Sept. 24-28.

The latest innovations being demonstrated include seamless Azure integration in Liquidware's leading User Environment Management solution, ProfileUnity, with user profiles stored and retrieved from the cloud. Liquidware is the only company delivering a solution to manage user profiles from Microsoft Windows to object-based cloud storage, or multiple clouds, without the use of a Server Message Block (SMB) file share. By leveraging object-based storage for user profiles, organizations benefit by readying their users for seamless DaaS (Desktop-as-a-Service) transitions, providing built-in high availability from multiple clouds and lowering the cost of storage.

A preview of the forthcoming new version of FlexApp, Liquidware's application layering solution, will demonstrate how application layers can be stored and retrieved from multiple clouds, including Microsoft Azure. Benefits include high-availability of apps with dual on-prem and cloud storage practices, and the elimination of SMB file share requirements.

"More and more customers are looking at how to best utilize public cloud to deliver their user workspaces," said Jason E. Smith, VP of Products, Liquidware. "Liquidware is committed to providing the best solutions to help them deliver the best experience to their users, wherever their workspace resides; physical, virtual or cloud."

Further and with the imminent release of version 6.1, Liquidware announces that its industry-leading user experience monitoring and diagnostics solution, Stratusphere UX, is now available in the Azure Marketplace (https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/liquidware.stratusphere?tab=Overview). This new version will also introduce process optimization, which intelligently optimizes CPU resources and lessens the negative performance effects of CPU-intensive applications. Additionally, Stratusphere UX will add in-guest visibility for Windows event logs, as well as the ability to monitor applications and processes that communicate outside of the guest—including protocol, destination address and application latency.
