66th Annual California RV Show Promising Plenty to See for RVing Lifestyle

POMONA, Calif., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Visitors can expect to see more than 1,200 new (2019) RVs of all sorts and sizes on display from more than 17 dealers, including 100 new RVs that will be ready for test drives. This is the only place to see all the new 2019 models from Class A, B, C and travel trailers, to 5th wheel trailers and toy haulers.

The show covers over one million square feet of displays and includes a large exhibitor tent featuring countless accessories and aftermarket products to personalize RVs, plus 40 informative seminars on a variety of RV-related subjects. Convenient parking and easy access to the show is assured with three entrance gates. There will also be three food courts for hungry show goers.

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the show's producer, says 505,900 units are expected to be shipped to RV dealers by yearend, capping nine straight years of growth and resulting in the highest annual total for the RV market. This figure is driven by strong second quarter shipment numbers of 134,502, the third-highest quarterly shipment total in more than 40 years.

"RVers from all over the West Coast mark this show on their calendar every year," said Tom Gaither, California RVIA Show Director. "There's no better place to catch the RVing Lifestyle bug than this show. It's the only place all year to check out the products on display from 17 dealers and to shop around to get the best deal on an RV."

But there's more to the show than just RVs. Meet American racecar driver Josef Nicolai Newgarden, who currently competes as a driver in the Verizon IndyCar Series for Team Penske. Dodgers fans can say hello to the legendary Steve Garvey, and marvel at the archery skills of Frank Addington Jr., known as the Aspirin Buster.

The show runs from Oct. 5 through 14, 2018 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Gate 9. Show hours are 10AM until 6PM daily. Adult admission is $15; kids 17 and under are free. Only active military personnel are free with ID. RV Parking is available. Save $2 by purchasing tickets online at https://californiarvshow.org

The RVIA is the national trade association representing recreation vehicle (RV) manufacturers and their component parts suppliers who together build more than 98 percent of all RVs produced in the United States.
