Ochser Consulting Group (OCG) Forms Partnership with Cloudian to Deliver Data Footprint Services and Storage Solutions

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- VMworld -- Ochser Consulting Group (OCG), a solution provider focused on delivering data footprint services and storage solutions, today announced that they are partnering with Cloudian, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise file and object storage systems, to help customers address their data storage needs by helping them understand their data footprint. The partnership will allow OCG to resell Cloudian solutions to address customers' growing object storage requirements.

"Users have been adding storage for years with little understanding of their data footprint, a trend that continues to accelerate," states David Ochser, president of Ochser Consulting Group. "Suppliers and partners have been fulfilling their customers storage requirements without really understanding their data footprint, which is why OCG is excited to be partnering with Cloudian. Utilizing our methodology and Cloudian object storage technology, we are able to help customers revise their storage consumption model, ultimately achieving significant savings in their storage budgets."

Cloudian's HyperStore platform is fully interoperability with S3-compatible applications from vendors such as Adobe, Computer Associates, Commvault, Citrix, IBM, Veritas, Redhat, and others. This ensures investment protection for developers and for data center managers. HyperStore can scale from just three nodes to hundreds, allowing systems to be right-sized for any application or organizational need, and is available as an appliance or as software for commodity hardware.

"Cloudian is committed to help our customers streamline their storage operations," said Lisa Sensmeier, Cloudian's senior director of channel marketing. "We are pleased to be working with Ochser Consulting Group (OCG) towards the mutual goal of driving down storage complexity and reducing overall cost."
