Whether automotive enthusiasts or history buffs, many people love a good car show. Coming up is one of those exact events that is also being put on for a good cause. Burke Motor Group is hosting its Car, Truck & Cycle Show on July 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 519 Stone Harbor Blvd. in Cape May Court House, with proceeds going toward local veterans.
Admission is free for those attending, while there is a $10 registration fee for anyone signing up to show off their vehicle at the event that includes welcome gifts and awards. Those interested in registering a vehicle are asked to do so ahead of time, as space is limited. In addition to the vehicles, the show will also feature live music by Thirsty Wilson, a barbecue lunch, Rita's Water Ice and many vendors.
The event is being put on to support local veterans and the Citizens/Veterans Advisory Committee. Whether registering a vehicle or not, those interested can make donations to CVAC in a variety of dollar amounts, and this can be done online by visiting the event webpage.
In addition to the proceeds of the Car, Truck & Cycle Show going toward veterans, Burke Motor Group has pledged to donate a portion of all its proceeds from car sales in July to support local veterans as well. Moreover, both veterans and active military personnel receive 20 percent off all service work up to $100 per visit year-round.
