Designed to Exceed: Inspiring New Products From Marvin and Integrity Unveiled at 2018 International Builders' Show

WARROAD, Minn., Jan. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- With quality, efficiency and thoughtful design in mind, The Marvin Family of Brands will introduce several new products at the 2018 International Builders' Show (Booth W2529) to further empower professionals and make all visions a reality. At a time when homeowners demand the most on-trend and advanced building solutions, Marvin Windows and Doors and Integrity Windows and Doors help builders succeed in creating inspiring spaces that express their clients' personalities and enhance their lives – like the first fully concealed home automation solution in the window and door industry and a commercially rated double hung available in unexpected sizes. All new products were created to meet the needs of today's builders, architects and homeowners through high-quality solutions that exemplify design customization, quality craftsmanship and precision manufacturing.

The Marvin Family of Brands will unveil several new products at the 2018 International Builders’ Show.

"Our solutions are created for those who, like us, believe craftsmanship is a virtue and aspire to create the best in residential and commercial design," said Christine Marvin, director of corporate strategy and design at The Marvin Family of Brands. "We've utilized insights for every detail from materials to design to develop products that advance the building industry. We're confident the products and design applications on display will both motivate and inspire, helping builders to perfect their craft."

Some of the new products on display at IBS 2018 include:

  • Marvin Home Automation – Lock Status Sensor – Giving homeowners peace of mind without adding complications for builders, the Marvin Lock Status Sensor is a fully integrated, factory-installed solution that indicates if a door or window is closed and locked or open and unlocked without requiring risky after-market modifications. It integrates seamlessly into new or existing security systems via wired or wireless connections and is compatible with a wide range of home security systems. Most importantly, its concealed design makes it the first solution on the market that has no visible components.
  • Marvin Gallery Hardware Collection – To answer increasing consumer demand for more design options, Marvin partnered with four renowned manufacturers Ashley Norton, Baldwin, Bouvet and Rocky Mountain Hardware to create a curated selection of new hardware offerings. The Gallery Hardware Collection makes it easy for builders to provide a variety of solutions that reflect their customers' individual style, from traditional to contemporary and everything in between. Available now in numerous finishes and styles, the Gallery Hardware Collection was hand-selected to meet Marvin's high standards for aesthetics, quality and craftsmanship.
  • Integrity All Ultrex Dark Interior Finishes Expanding upon the popular Marvin Designer Black painted interior finish launched last year, Integrity will now offer both Bronze and Ebony interior finishes on All Ultrex windows and doors – an ideal option for homeowners interested in the growing dark-interior-finish aesthetic. The new window finishes will be available in February 2018 and will expand to All Ultrex sliding doors in June 2018.
  • Marvin Commercial Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation With more requests for traditional window styles in larger sizes, Marvin is building upon last year's launch of the enhanced Marvin Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation with the introduction of a commercially-rated version. Available in February 2018, the Commercial Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation is designed for historical and institutional commercial projects. It will be available in sizes up to 5 feet wide by 10 feet tall with a PG 50 rating option for select sizes.

In addition to these new products, The Marvin Family of Brands booth will feature several unique components, including two deconstructed window displays, a 29-window exhibit showcasing Marvin's full range of styles from contemporary to traditional, handmade tables designed by Marvin craftsmen and a historic replication corner highlighting the recently renovated 1878 Cincinnati Music Hall including an exact replica of a 16-by-20-foot ornate window used in the music hall.

Marvin and Tom Silva of "This Old House"
As a proud sponsor of This Old House, Marvin is pleased to host Tom Silva, General Contractor and longtime star of the show for two in-booth events. In addition, Tom will be in the booth on Wednesday, Jan. 10 from 1 – 1:30 p.m. for a live podcast with Modern Craftsman and Christine Marvin.
