This was the first time for Millar to exhibit at MEDICA and proved to be a successful endeavor. MEDICA featured 5,100 exhibitors from around the world and provided an excellent opportunity for Millar to network and establish new business partnerships.

Millar exhibited microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) pressure sensors, a transcutaneous energy transfer (TET) system to power implantable devices and wireless pressure technology. Millar's goal is to partner with other medical device companies to integrate one or more of these core technologies into developing or existing devices, reducing overall development costs, speeding up time to market and improving patient care.

"It was a great opportunity to discuss Millar's OEM partnership journey and value chain with prospective companies seeking innovative technologies for medical device advancements, and I look forward to further developing these potential partnerships throughout 2018," stated Valor Thomas, Millar's OEM Business Development Manager.

Millar's OEM Business Development Manager, Valor Thomas, and OEM Engineer, Michelle Davis, represented the company throughout the four conference days at the world's biggest medical trade fair.
