ATLANTA, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- IWCE's Critical LTE Communications Forum, a business technology conference focused on mission-critical LTE network solutions, set an attendance record at its November event in Dallas, TX. The Forum offered three keynote presentations, eight sessions, a tech tour and networking with peers over the two-day program.

"With record breaking attendance, our event demonstrates the vital importance our content and networking opportunities are for our audience to do their jobs well. The event began with a Tech Tour of AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, where attendees accessed key areas in the facility and learned about some of the technology that is leveraged to ensure smooth operations during a game, concert or other events.

At the Welcome Reception presentation, "How Smart Cities Lead to Smarter Public Safety (and Beyond)", a panel of industry consultants shared expertise on where smart cities will take us, as well as the broader technology's impact on public safety.

FirstNet's CEO Michael Poth, delivered the opening keynote address about FirstNet's mission to bring communications across the country and Chris Sambar, Senior Vice President of AT&T's FirstNet group, offered additional information on how important the network is to AT&T, what capabilities it will provide, and how preemption will work.

Additional presentations on the following topics were also featured during the Forum: Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk, FirstNet Interoperability with LMR and 911, FirstNet's Functionality, Applications and Security and Innovation Ecosystem.
