Starmind-Powered Online Community Launches At U.N. Climate Change Conference
RISK TALK Is Part of The Clearing House for Risk Transfer Initiative Announced by the Fiji Attorney-General

ZURICH, Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Starmind, the leading technology to expand human ingenuity with artificial neural networking, is powering the interactive platform RISK TALK, launching during the Presidency Event at COP 23

This international online community was created in collaboration with the InsuResilience Secretariat and the UNFCCC Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage for The Clearing House for Risk Transfer.

Powered by Starmind's human-centric AI technology, Risk Talk is an interactive online community that bridges the supply of innovative risk transfer solutions with vulnerable countries and communities who could benefit from financial protection to manage climate risks.

Launching at the COP 23 Presidency Event "Towards a resilient future: Frontiers of risk sharing," RISK TALK is the first of its kind online community. It connects countries, communities and individuals vulnerable to natural disasters, that are not connected yet to experts on the field.

Additionally, RISK TALK acts as a means for climate change stakeholders to share information and expertise in an open communication environment. The answers provided will enable the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies. Through the Starmind Technology, a stakeholder will be able to find and interact with another stakeholder who has direct experience around the specific environmental situation being dealt with.

"For many citizens around the world, access to insurance when natural disasters hits is not possible. These people are faced with the destruction of everything and they have no protection in place against such catastrophic damage," said Marc Vontobel, Founder of Starmind. "With RISK TALK, and through our technology, anyone in the world looking for options on how to shield themselves and their families when disaster strikes, now have direct access to the experts who can provide them with the help they need. We are extremely proud to be a part of this global initiative."
