IFDA Announces Enhanced Focus on Disruptive Innovation and C-Suite Executive Summit at DSC 2018
Inventor, Author & Futurist Ray Kurzweil to Keynote 2018 Program

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA), today opened the 2017 IFDA Distribution Solutions Conference (DSC) with major announcements about the strategic direction of the organization. In front of a packed crowd, IFDA Vice President of Industry Relations, Brian Lynch announced an enhanced focus on innovation and disruptive technology at the 2018 DSC including an Innovation and Technology Pavilion on the show floor, an Innovation & Technology Track, and a keynote address from Ray Kurzweil, one of the world's leading inventors, thinkers, and futurists.  Additionally, IFDA announced the launch of a new C-Suite Executive Summit that will coincide with the DSC going forward. The 2018 DSC will take place October 28-30 in San Antonio, Texas.
