Bioness is showcasing the StimRouter Neuromodulation System®, a minimally invasive, surgical device designed to treat chronic peripheral nerve pain. The StimRouter targets pain at the point of origin, minimizes long-term healthcare costs and may provide pain relief when other treatments, such as medications and injections, have limited effect.1 The StimRouter has been implanted at 20+ different peripheral nerves, with the most common being the axillary nerve, located in the shoulder. Shoulder pain is one of the most common complications following a stroke which is primarily treated by healthcare professionals specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Attending Physiatrists and other attendees have the opportunity to see additional innovative solutions – specifically, the L300 Go System. The L300 Go addresses the limitations of lower limb paralysis following an upper motor neuron injury. The L300 Go follows the success of the original L300 and L300 Plus systems, offering significant new features including 3D motion detection of gait events, multi-channel capability, activity tracking via mobile iOS application and new electrode options.

In addition to the StimRouter Neuromodulation System and L300 Go System, attendees can also experience the following Bioness technologies:

  • Vector Gait and Safety System®: the global leader in robotic over ground gait rehabilitation, is a ceiling mounted, UL certified technology, capable of handling patients up to 500 lbs. and providing dynamic unloading up to 200 lbs. Vector will be exclusively featured in the Bioness Technology Exhibit, a mobile experiential vehicle, located within the Bioness exhibit space.
  • Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS): a multi-configured touchscreen capable of running software applications for 24 unique programs spanning six categories – standard assessments, visual scanning, visual pursuit, cognitive, visual-motor, and charts, that work to rehabilitate in the areas of occupational, physical, and speech language therapy.
  • H200 Wireless Hand Rehabilitation System: clinically shown to improve hand and upper extremity function during all stages of stroke rehabilitation, the H200 Wireless delivers non-invasive FES to improve hand function, reduce muscle spasms and prevent disuse atrophy.

To see these solutions for yourself, visit us at AAPM&R at booth #1006.
