GP PRO will equip attendees with the latest hygiene resources and expert insights available through a variety of offerings. GP PRO will sponsor a flagship "Breaking Down Barriers in Hand Hygiene to Drive Improvements in Your Organization" breakfast symposium. The unique, two-part session will occur on Monday, June 13 at 6 a.m. and will feature Dr. Maryanne McGuckin, FSHEA; John Govednik, M.S., McGuckin Methods International; Dr. Kelly Reynolds, MSPH; and Dr. Robert Canales, University of Arizona, College of Public Health. The speakers will cover contact dermatitis and its impact on hand hygiene compliance, as well as make a business case for hand hygiene compliance and exploring how ROI models assess the value of hand hygiene compliance.

To further raise awareness of hand hygiene, GP PRO will preview two new hand sanitizers: enMotion® High Frequency Use Hand Sanitizer and enMotion® Hand Sanitizer. The formulations were researched extensively to suit the hands of those who wash and sanitize the most, healthcare workers.

"From learning effective hand hygiene practices to installing leading-edge products, hand hygiene is everyone's responsibility," said Amna Handley, MSN, RN, CIC, FNP and GP PRO clinical consultant. "By empowering hospital staff with the resources and knowledge they need, we can help conference attendees return to their respective hospitals with actionable ways to enhance their hand hygiene programs."

During the show, GP PRO will host a series of events at the booth (#1715) to educate on hand hygiene including an in-booth presentation, "The Clinical Applications of Innovations in Hand Hygiene," that will detail ways to improve hand hygiene and a poster campaign for hospitals to use as reminders of the critical need for hand hygiene. A full list and schedule of events can be found here.
