"We're excited to be working with Winston Baker in putting together the panel on 'Bridging East and West Sensibilities' as this is a topic that repeatedly comes up in conversations when film financiers and producers plan to do business in China. There are many nuances to the film business, but there are also many elements that need to be considered in working within the Chinese film industry. We hope to have a conversation about issues and solutions to bridging the gap at the forum in Cannes," said Bee Goh, Chief Executive Officer of D'Hive.

D'Hive is a media hub located in Shanghai, China, providing a complete service for film, TV and media production companies to come together and produce content in custom-built facilities. It also provides advice on co-productions, licensing, human resources, artist management and film distribution in the Chinese and International markets. D'Hive's goal at Cannes is to meet and work with IP owners from script development, packaging, film financing to pre-production.

"Winston Baker has been producing conferences in China, such as the China-US Motion Picture Summit near Beijing and Film Finance Forum China in Shanghai since 2013. However, we realized that we must also present topics on China at our forums around the world, as many financiers, producers and distributors are eager to learn strategies for success in the vastly growing Chinese film market. We are hoping that discussions such as what D'Hive is presenting at the International Film Finance Forum will provide such insight," said Amy Baker, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Winston Baker

The International Film Finance Forum will also be hosting notable speakers such as Asif Kapadia, who received an Oscar and BAFTA Film Awards for Best Documentary, for "Amy"; David Linde, Chief Executive Officer of Participant Media and former Chairman of Universal Pictures; Stuart Ford, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IM Global; Finola Dwyer, an Oscar nominated and multi BAFTA award winning film and television producer; and many others. More speakers and program details are available on the forum website: http://filmfinanceforum.com/conferences/cannes/.
