Rave Mobile Safety Enhances Rave Alert Emergency Notification System Including New Integration with Rave Guardian Campus Safety App
Rave Alert Now Delivers Emergency Notifications Directly Through Rave Guardian Platform; Solutions to be Showcased at Booth #912 at Ellucian Live 2016 in Denver

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Rave Mobile Safety, the trusted creator of innovative public safety data and communication software, today announced enhancements to its award-winning Rave Alert and Rave Guardian solutions. Rave Alert users can now easily send alerts to students and staff through the Rave Guardian Campus Safety platform. Rave Alert also features improved session management and training modules, increasing ease of use. Both enhanced solutions will be showcased at booth #912 at the Ellucian Live 2016 conference, taking place from April 17-20, 2016 in Denver, Colorado.

Rave Mobile Safety is the most trusted safety software partner, providing innovative communication software for better emergency preparedness and faster response.

Rave Alert, a powerful, proven emergency notification system, combines high performance alerting with comprehensive data management. Used by thousands of educational institutions, state and local municipalities, medical centers and enterprises, it instantly sends multi-modal emergency notifications to students, citizens and employees. Last year, Rave Alert users sent more than a quarter billion notifications in the United States. Available for demonstration at the Rave booth (#912), enhancements to Rave Alert include:

  • Integration with Rave Guardian – Rave Alert customers who also have the Rave Guardian Campus Safety App can now choose the app as a delivery mode when creating an alert.
  • Improved Session Management – Alert users can now adjust the duration of inactivity that may elapse before a session automatically times out and logs off. This increases ease-of-use and security for administrators and alert authors.
  • New Training Mode – Authors may now practice creating, configuring and sending alerts directly through the actual platform. Training Mode prevents a user from sending alerts, but allows them to experience using the system with all available features and administrative actions, such as creating, editing or deleting user records, delivery lists and alert templates.
  • SnapSend – Rave Alert's fastest and simplest alert interface now supports messages of up to 10,000 characters. When this increased character count exceeds a delivery mode's limit, the interface will warn users that the message will be truncated.

"At Rave, we take our customers' feedback very seriously and their input directly determines our products' development and innovations," said Todd Piett, ENP, chief product officer at Rave Mobile Safety. "We are driven by their concerns and comments, and will continue to build our safety solutions based on our customers' experience and suggestions, making sure they suit their exact needs and goals."

These enhancements are available to Rave Alert and Rave Guardian users immediately. No downloads or updates are necessary, as both platforms will automatically receive the new features instantly. For more information about Rave Alert, or to schedule a demonstration, please click here.
