Texas Black Expo Partners with UTHealth to Honor Top Business Leaders and Organizations
Annual Corporate Luncheon Recognizes Texans Who Make a Positive Impact in the Community

HOUSTON, April 5, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Texas Black Expo, Inc. (TBE), producers of the largest African American tradeshow and festival in the south, will honor top business leaders and organizations at its annual Corporate Awards Luncheon. The event is a part of TBE's 2016 Summer Celebration and will be held on Friday, May 13th at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

This year's Corporate Awards Luncheon is presented by The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).  Dr. Giuseppe N. Colasurdo, president of UTHealth, will also serve as Honorary Chair. Established in 1972, UTHealth is Houston's Health University and Texas' resource for health care education, innovation, scientific discovery and excellence in patient care.
