Supply Chain Leaders to Discuss Reinventing Demand Prediction at the World's Only Demand Sensing Forum

AUSTIN, Texas, March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- E2open today announced that executives from Procter & Gamble, Shell, Kimberly-Clark, AkzoNobel, Dell, Mondelēz, ConAgra Foods, Land O'Lakes, The J.M. Smucker Company and Church & Dwight will share industry perspectives and discuss the latest developments in supply chain planning at the world's only demand sensing forum. The event will be held from April 5 to 7 at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park, Florida.

Analyst keynote sessions featuring Steven Steutermann, Vice President Research Consumer Products of Gartner and Lora Cecere, Founder and CEO of Supply Chain Insights, will explore why today's fast-changing markets expose the limits of traditional planning approaches and what business benefits to expect from new technologies in the next 15 years.

Customer presentations include case studies on how companies are overcoming the limitations of traditional supply chain applications by exploring new approaches to drive shareholder return. In addition, attendees will be the first to see the results of the 2016 Forecasting Benchmark Study and will take part in panel discussions on taming the long tail, measuring the health of demand plans, and leveraging analytics to drive change.

"We are honored to bring together leading industry visionaries dedicated to eliminating the boundary between planning and execution," said Robert F. Byrne, Vice President and General Manager, E2open. "The recent merger between E2open and Terra has made this an even more exciting opportunity, enabling us to build multi-enterprise supply chain networks that dynamically sense and respond to changing market conditions."
