Massachusetts Medtech Week brings together two of the region's most respected medtech authorities. The premier industry event will present a comprehensive schedule of educational sessions, covering top trends and innovations across the medical manufacturing space. The partner events will draw more than 4,000 of New England's business leaders, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and suppliers. Attendees of both shows will have access to the BIOMEDevice expo hall that features more than 350 suppliers.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is the honored guest speaker, and will present at the BIOMEDevice Expo, according to Massachusetts Medtech Week organizers. Governor Baker on April 13 will touch on the state's new digital health care initiative, the life sciences and the Massachusetts business climate.

"We're honored to support and witness the strength of New England's medical technology community. Through BIOMEDevice's continuing partnership with MassMEDIC, Massachusetts Medtech Week is able to present top-notch education and facilitate business connections that drive local industry innovation," said Stephen Corrick, senior vice president and portfolio director of UBM Americas' Advanced Manufacturing group.

Beyond the opportunity to meet hundreds of top suppliers at the BIOMEDevice Expo, attendees will gain exposure to the entire medical and advanced manufacturing ecosystem. UBM Americas will host three additional co-located events in Boston, including Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), Design and Manufacturing, and PLASTEC.
