WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Organizers of the 2016 IEEE International Symposium on Technologies for Homeland Security (HST '16) are seeking technical papers, posters and tutorials in the following areas:
Abstracts, which are due 30 November, should focus on technologies capable of deployment within five years. All areas will cover the following common topics:
Accepted papers will be published by IEEE and presented at HST '16 at the Westin Waltham Boston in Waltham, Mass., USA, 10-12 May 2015. At least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the symposium and pay the registration fee.
HST '16 will be the 15th in an annual series of events focusing on emerging homeland security technologies. It will bring together leading academic, industry, business, government and Homeland Security Centers of Excellence innovators working on technologies designed to deter and prevent homeland attacks, protect critical infrastructures and people, mitigate damage and expedite recovery.
International partners are encouraged to participate.
