RCare Launches Advanced Location Protocol, G4 Technology at LeadingAge Boston.
RCare releases its most exciting technology, enabling nursing staff to finally know exactly on which floor the pendants are pushed

BOSTON, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- RCARE announced today at the Boston LeadingAge National Conference (Booth #1526), the official release of RCare G4 with Advanced Location Protocol (ALP), the fastest, most advanced and accurate nurse call technology on the market.

Rochester-based RCare has seamlessly integrated the new cutting-edge location technology into their existing senior living nurse call and monitoring system offerings.  It even works with their patent-pending mobile nurse handset solution, RCare Mobile, featuring the innovative "I Got It" button.

RCare's revolutionary ALP uses proprietary algorithms to determine the location and floor number of the resident and alert staff faster than ever before with a pinpoint location, an unmatched feature in the senior housing industry.  The G4 also boasts an increase in processing speed of over 10,000% for improved error cancellation and lightning-fast response speeds. This means a resident emergency call is instantaneously dispatched and taken care of by designated staff.

"For the first time, staff in multilevel communities will be able to pin-point the location and floor number of a pressed RCare pendant, a struggle that long term care and senior housing providers have been faced with since the inception of wireless call systems," said RCare founder and president, Myron Kowal. "After years of research and development, we are proud to unveil this latest addition to our RCare family."

Using state-of-the-art Dual Modulation technology, RCare's G4 penetrates buildings better, and reaches farther to cover even the largest senior communities.  It also uses secured two-way error checking, ensuring the right caregiver is dispatched to the right resident at the right time--every time. Its new Virtual location technology enables greater resident independence while reducing risk.

"We use RCare to make sure our residents receive the care they need, as rapidly as they need it," said Janelle Zacho, Director of Nursing from Columbia Health Services. "It's helped with accountability, reducing caregiver burnout and ensuring resident safety and satisfaction."

For communities with existing Response Care systems, G4 is fully compatible with existing transmitters for easy upgrading..

"The LeadingAge National convention is a natural venue for RCare to release the G4 technology", said Amanda Marr, VP of Communications for LeadingAge. "RCare shines as an example of a technology provider committed to improving the aging experience in America by leading the way through innovative care and services".
