SC Johnson Kicks Off Special Five-Part Chicago Architecture Biennial Free Lecture Series at Global Headquarters
Company Hosts First Community Interest Program in Racine, Wisconsin with Chicago Architecture Biennial Assistant Curator

RACINE, Wis., Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As the regional sponsor of the Chicago Architecture Biennial (CAB), SC Johnson will host five special community interest programs at the company's Racine, Wisconsin headquarters, beginning on October 29 with guest lecturer Arièle Dionne-Krosnick, Curatorial Assistant of the Chicago Architecture Biennial. Welcoming architecture enthusiasts from around the world, Dionne-Krosnick will lecture on the history behind the Biennial, the significance of its first appearance in the United States, and several exclusive exhibits featured throughout the event.

Dionne-Krosnick is a graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Masters in Visual and Critical Studies. Her research explores the history and theory of architecture, and her graduate dissertations surveyed the work of Philadelphia architect Anne Tyng through a feminist critique of creative collaborations.

In 2013, Dionne-Krosnick was a Program Assistant at the Graham Foundation for Advanced studies in the Fine Arts, a foundation that makes project-based grants to individuals and organizations and produces public programs to foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Dionne-Krosnick worked at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, a research center and museum devoted to building public awareness of the role of architecture in society, promoting scholarly research in the field, and stimulating innovation in design practice.

SC Johnson's support of CAB reflects the company's long-standing commitment to preserving the legacy of architectural icon Frank Lloyd Wright. SC Johnson's global headquarters features two world renowned signature Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, the Administration Building, which opened in 1939, and its vertical compliment the Research Tower, which opened in 1950.

CAB visitors are being offered the opportunity to see these masterful Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and other treasures in person through the Wright Now @ SC Johnson program. All tours and community interest programs are free.
